In the middle of the silent protests, many people gathered at various Masjids in Vijayawada to offer prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-fitr on Monday, which meant the end of the Moon fasting of Ramadan.
At Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium, people arrived at the same time in response to a call that Muslim personal rights throughout India cited as a form of protest against the WAQF Act (amendment).
Munir Ahmed, President of the Muslim Hakkula, participated in Samiti Farooq, and other prominent community leaders.

Maulana Mohammed Aijazuddin Siddiqui, which led prayers and addressed the crowd, prayed that “the eyes of the governments” and a bill, which indicates more than 40 changes to the current law, is “withdrawn to protect the rights of Muslims”.
Many YSRCP leaders participated in the prayer of the IGMC stadium.
On the ground near the Surya school in the city, Vijayawada East Mla Gadde Rammohan Rao and Penamaluru Mla Bode Praad participated in the Zasaz together with other parties.
Rammohan Rao, who expanded greetings to people, said N. Chandrababu Naidu, the process of identifying the land for Eidgahs is taking place in the city. The construction will complete another Ramzan, he said.
Mr. Prasad said that Mr. Naidu has sanctioned £ 50 for the development of Masjid in Vuyyur. For the construction of Eidgah, land worth 5 ₹ Crore in the district of Gosala in the Krishna district was identified, he said. Both representatives assured that TDP would always work for the well -being of the Muslim community.
Meanwhile, silent protests were observed on other masjids in the city.
