The resolution of issues related to internal reservation among scheduled castes has cleared the way for the recruitment of about 8,000 police personnel, which has been on hold so far, Home Minister G. Parameshwara said on Tuesday.
He was speaking after receiving a ceremonial salute at a parade of probationers at the Police College at Naganahalli in suburban Kalaburagi.
