Police Kadapa launched a drive against unlawful counterfeiting branded products on Sunday (October 5, 2025). The police attacked the local fittings and confiscated the huge cache of false products made in violations of the trademark law.
JSW Steel Coated, a subsidiary of the company “JSW Steel”, received a tip for abuse of its trademark “JSW Silver” for his shutter products. The company hired an agency of a third party to investigate that led to SDS & Sons based in Kadapa.
In the face of clear evidence of the breach of the trademark, the police of Kadap and the team of the company attacked the outlets, resulting in the seizure of eighteen components of the shutter illegally marked “JSW Silver” and associated forms used for etching.
Police Kadapa Taluk submitted companies No. 323/2025 against SDS & SONS according to sections 417, 420, 482, 483, 485 and 486 IPC and sections 102, 103, 104 and 107 of the trademark Act.
