Foreign Minister Vikram Misri told reporters in Nový Delhi before a two -day visit to Narendra Modi that both nations share a long history of diplomatic engagement, including more visits and partnership at a high level in shop, investment, clean energy, infrastructure and technology.
PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to discuss matters related to Quad and strengthen security and peace in the Indo-Pacific region during a visit. India and Japan are members of Quad together with the United States and Australia.
Misri said on Tuesday’s press briefing that India attached a high value to the Quad Group, which is perceived in the Indo-Pacific struggle as a counterbalance to China, despite tense ties with the United States, fellow citizens.
