More than 20 school students and bus crew were injured when one school bus came across another of the same institution at Srinivasapuram Road in the village of Kangarananthal near Arani, Tiruvannamei on Thursday.
The police said the school bus managed by S. Thanigaivel (43) with approximately 25 students advanced to the school campus in the section. When he tried to slow down the vehicle, the vehicle hit another bus of the same school. A total of 25 persons, including students, were injured in the accident
Immediately passers -by and other motorists saved the injured students of the school. They were treated at the primary health center in Thatchur. The case was registered and another probe is taking place.
