Massive participation of pilgrims for “Garuda Seva” during the Sunday Brahmotsavams in Tirumala.
Tirumala experienced an increase in devotion on Sunday, because more than two lake pilgrims from all over the country descended in the temple city to witness the favorable “Garuda Seva”, the spiritual peak of the annual Brahmotsavam.
The city was milled by pilgrimage activities from the Dawn break as tens of thousands of devotees who spent the previous (Saturday) night in the streets of Mad to secure advantageous angles (witnesses of the divine spectacle), turned into a festive mood.
The massive gallery with an open peak lining the process route, capable of accommodating about 1,75 devotees, were filled with noon capacity and subjected the authorities to anxious moments.
The day witnessed remarkable efficiency, showed exemplary crowd management and trouble -free coordination among multiple departments.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), police, alertness and security teams, and the district administration worked in Tandem to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for teeming pilgrims.
The Executive Director of TTD Anil Kumar Singhal and the SP L. district personally supervised the measures and watched every detail to avoid overload.
Food and water
Devoted in galleries and Darshan lines were provided with continuous supplies of free food and drinking water, while medical and emergency services were ready to meet any eventuality.
The movement of the vehicle in Tirumale was allowed until the afternoon, then diverted on the outer circular road to facilitate the easy movement of the devotees. With all the parking spaces at the top of the hill reaching capacity, pilgrims were instructed to park their vehicles in Tirupati and use public transport to achieve the shrine, which is a measure that alleviates overload and maintain proper flow.
Arrangement of pilgrims
The pilgrims, when they approached the media staff to know their reaction to the arrangement, were effective in their praise for flawless planning and unprecedented mega festival and attributed the main Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for securing a smooth and unforgettable experience.
At the beginning of the day, Lord Malayapp was decorated in a bright woman’s garment, dazzling jewelry and silk robes drove richly decorated elephant bunk in the captivating “Mohini avatarama”, preceded by the score of Bhajansky and cultural ensembles, and “lead” in Pontadní Temple. Idol Lord Krishna was also carried in a separate bunk.
