Members of the Faculty of Government Faculties throughout the State organized an hour of Dharny from 13:00 to 14:00 at all medical faculties to protest against the rejection of the state government to resolve anomalies in the revision of the salary and payment of arrears for remuneration for over four years.
Doctors also protest against the lack of faculty at government medical faculties and uninitiated contribution to Drahouška (DA) with arrears.
State President KGMCTA, Rosnara Begum, said the government had violated KGMCT’s promises to solve its problems and paying arrears that it was so much that the government had made it to the government to make KGMCTA that KGMCT was enough that the government was to go through Kgmct. So much that the government had made the government that the government said that the government would make a hand to pass to the strike.
Over the past five years, KGMCTA has been constantly reminding the government to solve anomalies in a revision of remuneration, without success. Although the cabinet met twice after KGMCTA started the strike, the government did not discuss the issue of creating adequate positions of the faculty at new medical universities, KGMCTA stressed.
The Kerala Medical PG Association, the Association of Domestic Surgeons and the Student Union also participated in Dharny.
KGMCTA said his Central Executive Committee will meet on Tuesday (October 7, 2025) to decide on another agitation course. If the government continues to ignore the requirements of doctors, KGMCTA would have no choice but to intensify agitation, she added.
