Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (Oct 23, 2025) said the “jungle paradise” of Bihar will be discussed for the next 100 years and no matter how much the opposition tries to hide its misdeeds, the people will not forgive it.
Training his guns at the RJD-Congress convention on the day Tejashwi Yadav was declared the chief ministerial candidate of the Mahagathbandhan for the upcoming Bihar polls, Mr Modi said the opposition alliance was not a ‘gathbandhan’ but a ‘lathbandhan’ (coalition of criminals) as all its leaders from Delhi and Bihar are outside.
Mr Modi asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to ensure that the elderly educate the youth about the atrocities during the “jungle paradise”, an apparent reference to when Bihar was under RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s rule.
Addressing the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot: Yuva Samvaad’ event through audio conferencing, the Prime Minister said that people will not forget the ‘jungle paradise’ of Bihar for another 100 years and no matter how much the opposition tries to hide its misdeeds, people will not forgive it.
“I would tell all the young people in Bihar to gather all the young people at every stall and for the older people in the area to come and tell everyone about the old stories of the jungle paradise,” he said.

In an interaction with a BJP worker, Mr. Modi said that there is a “mahayagja” of development going on in the country, with all-round work being done thanks to a stable government at the Center and in Bihar.
“In Bihar, work is being done in every sector, in every direction. Hospitals are being built, good schools are being established and new railway routes are being developed. The main reason is that there is a stable government in the country and in Bihar. When there is stability, development accelerates. That is also the strength of the Bihar NDA government,” he said.
NDA is determined to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the youth of Bihar. The interaction with the youth of the state through the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Strong’ program is heartening. https://t.co/0dtwsHNOmv

Bihar will go to polls in two phases on November 6 and 11. Counting of votes will begin on November 14.
