From river restoration and wetland conservation to climate governance and industrial responsibility, environmental issues have found a place in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election manifestos.
However, a closer look at the manifestos of the DMK, AIADMK, BJP, Congress, NTK, PMK, VCK and CPI(M) shows that while the parties partially identify similar issues, they differ in how they propose to address them.
