Padmaja takes over as Collector of Kallakurichi

JE Padmaja assumed office as the new collector of Kallakurichi district on Sunday.

Ms. Padmaja was earlier serving as Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Villupuram District. She replaced MS Prasanth, who was transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government, Finance Department.

Speaking to reporters, Ms. Padmaja said the administration would ensure speedy redressal of grievances and strengthen inter-ministerial coordination to drive the overall development of the district. Any problems or issues that arise will be resolved immediately. All petitions received from the public will be forwarded to the concerned unions and resolved within the stipulated time frame, she said.
