In a series of coordinated air raids across Hyderabad, excise duty teams took over 3.3 kilograms of Ganja and 21.3 grams of MDMA and arrested five individuals in connection with drug trafficking. The estimated value of the seized narcotics is over 1.5 ₹ Lakh.
In Anandnagar, Uppal, an employee of a real estate company was arrested by 21.3 grams of MDMA. The medicine from Bengalur for 3,000 GBP per gram was sold in Hyderabad up to 6,000 GBP per gram. Bike and mobile phone were also confiscated.
At the same time, three separate Ganja raids were made. There were two men in Malkajgiri, including Hari of Prashanthanagar and Akhil of Vijayawady, arrested by 1.12 kilograms of Ganja and a two -wheel wheel. In Dhoolpet, a woman named Gauri Bai was arrested 1.28 kilograms of Ganja, while another suspect, Mahima Devi, was booked. In Qutbullapur, 1.09 kilograms of Ganja were seized from Mazhar Uddin from Bidar.
All cases were handed over to appropriate consumer stations. Officials stated that there were further investigations to identify larger networks behind these peddlers.
