On Wednesday, the Lohiya Group has launched production facilities for biscuits in Medchal, Telangana, which will include 300 Crore investment in the next four years and generate 6,000 jobs.
The production capacity of the new high -speed automated device is 1,000 tonnes per month with modular abilities that allow further scaling per 5,000 tonnes per month, said Bongir MP Chamala Kumar Reddy 1,000 tonnes per month.

It is assumed that a four -year capital expenditure of 300 GBR, creates 6,000 new livelihoods, with 2,000 on -site jobs and another 4,000 in its extended supply and distribution ecosystem, underlining the potential of the facility as a local economic accelerator, the company said.
One of the key features is local sources of flour, sugar, jaggers, honey, dairy products and other natural ingredients. Emphasis is placed on the first employment aimed at increasing the number of women in the production workforce. There are currently more than 40% of women employees, the company said.
Behind the production process of biscuits are of high quality ingredients, complex designs and advanced biotechnology, said Lohiya Counc’s director Manisha Lohiya Lahoti.
The company introduced operations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Chhattisgarh and plans to start exports in the near future.
