Another mobile phone was a seed from Kannur’s central prison. During the inspection on Saturday evening, the prison officials found a phone hidden under the stone before block number 10. Based on a complaint from the prison authorities, which the Kannur Municipal Police registered and started the investigation. Govindachamy, rape and condemnation of the murder that recently escaped from prison and was caught shortly afterwards, claimed that drugs were easily accessible in prison and were also access to phones.
