The Srisailam temple management has installed QR code boards detailing the ‘Sthala Purana’ (Legend/History) of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple at Srisailam at various places in the temple premises for the convenience of devotees.

Srisailam Pothugunta Temple Board Chairman Ramesh Naidu and Managing Director M. Srinivasa Rao said that by scanning the QR code on these boards, devotees can access information related to the legend of Srisailam, significance of the site, historical details and architectural style of the temple, available in both audio (conversational) and written form. This information is available in 130 different languages.

The platform uses a centralized AI-driven technology known as “NIVU” (Neural Intelligence Vernacular Unified Model) to provide these details. These slabs have been installed at around 60 locations throughout the temple complex.

Boards providing information about specific places like Sakshi Ganapati, Hatakeswaram, Phaladhara-Panchadhara, Shikhareswaram and ‘Pancha Mathas’ (Five Monasteries) have also been set up at their respective places.

Mr. Ramesh Naidu and Mr. Srinivasa Rao advised the devotees to make the most of this opportunity to learn about the significance of the holy place, the size of the place and the special features of the sub-temples.
