J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday (Nov 13, 2025) condemned the Red Fort blast and not every Kashmiri is a terrorist.
Mr Abdullah demanded punishment for those responsible for the blast but warned against harming the innocent in the process. “Very few people want to disrupt peace and brotherhood here. They should be held responsible. But every person in J&K is not a terrorist or associated with terrorists,” Mr Abdullah said while speaking in Jammu.

He said it was unfortunate that every J&K person and every Kashmiri Muslim was “viewed with suspicion”. “Portraying every Kashmiri Muslim as a terrorist makes it difficult to keep people on track,” Abdullah said.
The J&K Chief Minister’s remarks come in the backdrop of the killing of 13 civilians in a deadly car blast in New Delhi on November 10. Security agencies believe that the car loaded with explosives was driven by a doctor from Pulwama.
“The brutal killing of innocent people in this manner is unacceptable. No religion allows this. No condemnation of this incident is enough,” Abdullah said.
