The Bihar Assembly Election 2025 results will be declared on November 14, according to the Election Commission of India, with counting of votes beginning at 8 am in all constituencies.
Elections to the 243-member assembly were held in two phases on November 6 and 11. According to the final electoral rolls, Bihar has 74.2 million registered voters, of which 39.2 million are male and 35 million are female. Voter turnout remained strong, with 65.08% turnout in the first phase and 68.76% in the second. In the first phase of voting held on November 6 for 121 constituencies in 18 constituencies, the state recorded the highest ever voting percentage with 64.66% participation.
Exit surveys
Two fresh polls on Wednesday (Nov 12, 2025) pointed to an NDA victory in Bihar, with Axis My India showing a clear edge for the ruling alliance and Today’s Chanakya predicting a big victory for it over the Mahagathbandhan. Meanwhile, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav in his first reaction to the exit poll that the media showing the exit poll is unable to talk about the sample size of the survey. He claimed that “whatever the PMO and Amit Shah decide, the media has shown”.
