Nominated Board Members of Maharaja’s College

The state government has nominated the members of the board of trustees of Maharaja’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, with PS Gopinathan, former judge of the Kerala High Court, as the chairman.

Other nominated members include S. Pappachan (Industrialist), A. Vijayakumar (Educator), Dr. Anitha MN and Vinod Kumar Kallolickal (Teachers’ Representatives) and Nitha M. (State Government Nominee). The Principal of the College has been proposed as the Member Secretary of the Board, while the Administrative Assistant will be the representative of the panel’s administrative staff.

The government said in an order on Saturday (July 18, 2026) that the director of higher education could reconstitute the board with nominated members along with nominees of the Mahatma Gandhi University and the college principal.
