No permission for YSRCP protests against alleged DSC recruitments

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Krishna Kanth Patil said that permission has been denied for the protest rally and dharnas planned by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Monday (September 21, 2026). The opposition party intended to organize dharnas against the alleged irregularities in the recruitment of DSC teachers. The DCP said that BNSS Section 163 and Section 30 of the Police Act were in force and no police permission was granted for the protests. He warned that strict action would be taken against violators.
