The reshuffle of NITI Aayog last week with a new set of full-time members shows a tilt towards the technology and healthcare sectors. Typically, the choice for a policy think tank has leaned toward economists.
Three of the five new members – Abhay Karandikar, M. Srinivas and Gobardhan Das – have long careers in healthcare, biotechnology and science.
