NHAI is revising tolls on the Bengaluru-Nelamangala and Bengaluru-Kolar highway sections

The tolls on the Bengaluru-Nelamangala section of NH-48 and the Bengaluru-Kolar section of NH-75 have been increased from Wednesday following the revision of user charge rates for the financial year 2026-2027 by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

According to separate public notices issued by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Bengaluru, the revised toll rates will be applicable at Bengaluru-Nelamangala toll plazas on NH-48 and Hedaginabele, Agrahara, Krishnarajapura and Sundarapalya toll plazas on the Bengaluru-Bethamangala section.

On the Bengaluru-Nelamangala controlled access expressway, tolls are collected at six locations. For cars, jeeps, vans and light motor vehicles, the toll for one trip varies from ₹ 10 to ₹ 35 depending on the toll plaza. The highest fee of ₹35 applies to TP-1, while TP-2 has the lowest fee of ₹10. Round trip charges and monthly fares have also been revised for all vehicle categories.

Local Monthly Pass: ₹360 for non-commercial vehicles owned by residents living within 20 km of the toll plaza (subject to eligibility).

FASTag Annual Pass: ₹ 3,075 for non-commercial cars, jeeps and vans, valid for 200 toll plaza crossings or one year, whichever comes first.

Meanwhile, on the Bengaluru-Kolar Expressway, revised toll rates have been announced for four toll booths. For cars and other light motor vehicles, the one-way charge is ₹50 at Hedaginabel and Agrahara, ₹120 at Krishnarajapura and ₹150 at Sundarapalya. Users traveling through multiple toll booths will pay a cumulative toll based on the distance traveled.

The revised tariff also applies to commercial vehicles, buses, trucks and multi-axle vehicles with a corresponding increase in round trip and monthly ticket charges. The annual ticket for eligible vehicles has been set at ₹3,075 for 2026–27.

NHAI said the revised user charge was notified under the provisions of the National Road Charge (Fixation of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, as amended, and is based on the annual review mechanism prescribed in the rules. The revised rates came into effect from 00:00 hours on July 22, 2026, according to the notification.
