The shots are captured by strong black smoke plumes that flutter from the hostel when the students who were trying to escape. Some can see how they rise from the windows and balconies of the Faculty of Medicine, while others use temporary ropes made of tied affiliates to descend from higher floors.
The scenes reveal a desperate attempt to survive in the middle of chaos, and students help each other to escape the rapid fire. Several students were even seen on the nearby trees and watched helplessly the fire was raging.
