Terminal 1 of the Navi Mumbai International Airport and Terminal 2 of the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati have featured in the 2026 Prix Versailles list as two of the most beautiful airports in the world.

These two airports are operated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), the largest private airport operator in India. The Paris Prix Versailles is one of the world’s leading annual awards for architecture and design.

The Prix Versailles recognizes newly launched airports and terminals for their contemporary creations that embody a synthesis of distinctive architecture, reflecting how airports are moving beyond conventional design to offer a richer and more harmonious vision of the world. Its accolade recognizes design, sustainability and passenger-focused planning.

Five more international airports have come up in addition to Navi Mumbai and Guwahati airports. These are Cambodia’s Kandal Stueng Airport, China’s Guangzhou Airport, Germany’s Frankfurt am Main Airport, and Pittsburgh and San Diego airports in the United States.
