
Air India Flight AI2744 from Kochi to Bombai after landing after landing in the middle of heavy rain turned away from the runway. The plane landed at 9:27 in the morning and emergency teams were hurried on the scene. Air India spokesman said that all passengers and crew members were safely ascended at the gate.
“The flight AI2744, acting from Kochi to Bombai on 21 July 2025, experienced heavy rain during landing, resulting in an excursion to the track after landing. The aircraft safely taxed to the gate and all passengers and crew members had gone.
“The incoming aircraft from Kochi experienced an excursion on the track at the International Airport Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (CSMIA), Mumbai on 09.27 hours 21st July 2025.
The second runway operating
“Minor damage is reported on the primary track of the airport – 09/27. In order to ensure the continuity of operations, the secondary track 14/32 was activated – in CSMIA safety always remains our highest priority,” the spokesman added.
