That was the only positive of this game. As for our bowling unit, I feel I missed my partner Kuldeep tonight,” Axar said.Asked if 155 was a competitive total, Axar said, “Yes, of course. The way the first innings played, we felt 155 was a really good score on the board. But I felt we played with 8 overs, so we were 10-15 runs short.”“I felt the wicket was better in the 2nd innings. Honestly, I felt the batsmen’s set-up made the difference. When the set bats in the middle, they make sure the wicket looks flat. I still felt the wicket has something for the bowlers.”On the batting conditions for the new players, the DC captain said, “It was not easy to bat the new batsmen. You know the ball was sticking to the surface. It was tough for the new batsmen, but once you are ready you can take the game away from the opposition and you have a clear example in front of you – Sanju Samson.”
