The Kochi Municipal Police arrested three people in two separate cases with more than 25 grams of suspicious MDMA on Thursday (July 31, 2025).
PM Shameer, 49, from Pallurutha, was arrested by 22.71 grams of suspicious MDMA from the ligament. The police reportedly confiscated 92,500 GBP. It was found that he had three more NDPS cases against him, the police said.
Sony Jinnus (24 years) and VB Sanal, 24 years old, both residents of Kaluor, were charged from a cottage near the KSRTC bus stand with 2.57 grams of suspicious MDMA. The arrest was carried out by Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force Anti-Narcotics Anti-Narcotics Anti-Narcotics.
