George Varghese (85), industrialist and grower died on Thursday.
The founder of the industrial mileage group Midas mileage was a pioneer of production and marketing of tire protector materials across India and abroad. The group also founded more industrial units in Kerala and other countries. He was the owner of Panampunna Estate in Liazhoor in Kottayam.
He was survived by his children Sara Varghes, Varkey Varghese and Paulos Varghese. His daughter Anna Varghese his forerunner. Late Mariam Varghese was his wife.
Mr. Varghese was the son of the late baker Fena Varghes, the front flowerpot and the late Saramma Varghese (BF Varughes), a well -known social worker and author of several cookbooks.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 4 pm in the Church of Jerusalem Mar Thoma, Kottayam.
