On Sunday, the leader YSRCP and former Finance Minister Buggan Rajendranath Reddy claimed that the funds that spent the NDA government led by the TDP on the Polavaram irrigation project were mobilized by the dispensation of YSRCP.
Mr. Rajendranath Reddy accused the TDP government in 2014-19, led by N. Chandrababu Naidu, for disproportionate delay in the project and random way in which the structures were built.
Rajendranath Reddy, who addressed the media in Hyderabad, said he was because of the ineffectiveness of the TDP government that the project has been stuck for several years. This was because of some interests that Mr. Naida took over his construction from the center, despite being a national project, claiming, claiming that the project had made real progress during YSRCP mode.
He was the former main Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who secured the permit for the project. His son and former main Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy followed him in 2019-24 and got the main part of the completed works, said leader YSRCP.
The project was paralyzed because Mr. Naidu agreed to the old standard schedule of rates (SSR) in 2013–14, he claimed. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy convinced the resort and managed to keep the rates up to a total of 48,000 GBP Crore, adding that the project would otherwise be stuck due to the wrong priorities of Mr. Naida.
The leader YSRCP said Mr. Naid’s claim that Krishna River had brought water to Kuppam was false and misleading, while by the end of 2025 she ridiculed her promise to complete the Polaram wall by the end of 2025 and stated that even preliminary works were not completed.
