‘MISA-The Last Breath’ to be released in Kochi

“MISA-The Last Breath”, a play depicting the prison torture and persecution suffered by activist and artist Snehalatha Reddy during the Emergency, will be staged at the TK Ramakrishnan Memorial Center near the Ernakulam jetty here on Tuesday.

The Chilanka Floating Theater will stage the play, which has recently sparked controversy, at 6:00 p.m. According to the announcement, the second edition of the Prison Diary will be published on this occasion. S. Sathish, Ernakulam district secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), will release a book published by Chintha Publishers. Ravitha Haridas, State Secretary of Vanitha Sahithi, will receive a copy.
