How is the Volkswagen group doing in India?
Volkswagen Group’s performance in India has remained underwhelming despite the country becoming the world’s third-largest passenger car market. The automaker’s market share at the end of fiscal year 26 was 2.3%. However, thanks to the recent success of the Kylaq, Škoda’s compact SUV, retail sales rose 30% to 110,070 units in FY26. This led to a 48% increase in net profit. ₹139 crore for the financial year, with total revenues up 11%. ₹22,338 crores.
