Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth said on Friday that the Union government will continue its uncompromising stand against terrorists.
Here, Mr. Seth interacted with officers and soldiers at Pangode Military Station.
The minister said that the Atma-Nirbhar Bharat concept will be implemented across all sectors including defense manufacturing. Noting that Pangode Military Station is the only amphibious formation of the Indian Army, he said amphibious capability plays a very important role.
Today, the goal is not just to protect borders, but also to prepare for future challenges – be it conventional or hybrid warfare, or complexities related to maritime and coastal security, Mr. Seth said.
Pangode Station Commander Brigadier Anurag Upadhyay, Commanding Officers, other officers and soldiers of Madras Regiment and Garhwal Rifles attended the event.
