Minister for Health Satya Kumar Yadav On the third day of his Padayatry on Sunday in the Dharmavaram district in the Sri Satya Sai district.
Minister of Health Satya Kumar Yadav on Sunday (July 13) emphasized the need to speed up the sterilization and vaccination of stray dogs throughout the state and emphasized public security and health.
On the third day “Padayatra” spoke in Dharmavaram in the district of Sri Satya Sai. Mr. Yadav visited the Center of Animal Contraception (ABC) in the city and organized an inspection meeting with officials on infrastructure and operational strategies.
The Minister inspected the availability of medical and medical staff, the procedure of sterilization and existing equipment on Wednesday. The officials informed him that there were more than 3,000 stray dogs within Dharmavaram. He ordered the medical department of the municipality Dharmavaram to adopt scientific methods to control the situation. He said officials should note that children and older people were particularly vulnerable to dog bite and the risk of rabies.
Mr. Yadav insisted that all initiatives must be in line with the proforms and instructions of the Indian Animal Council. He asked the municipal authorities to cooperate in coordination with all line departments and make a special effort for sterilization and vaccination of stray dogs.
The Minister reiterated that the government would never endanger public health. During the inspection, the Minister was accompanied by the municipal commissioner Pramod Kumar and the local leaders.
