Fight in flight! A video of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight went viral on the internet when two of its passengers got into a physical altercation. The incident occurred when the flight from London to Bangladesh was at an altitude of 30,000 feet.
Viral video of London to Bangladesh flight
The fight in the air turned chaotic. In the video, the two men were seen engaging in a heated argument before throwing punches at each other. One of them also tore the shirt of the other during the fight.
A flight attendant and fellow passengers later intervened to separate the men to stop the fight.
Panic broke out among the other passengers on board, including children, women and the elderly. In the video, passengers could be heard screaming amid the chaos.
An eyewitness recalls the incident
The video was shared by user Uddin Alim, who claimed to be traveling on the same flight on September 16.
He posted the video on Facebook and wrote, “I was personally on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight on 16th September 2026 and I witnessed a very disturbing incident while we were in the air. A fight broke out between the passengers which created a scary situation inside the plane.”
“It was even more disturbing that there were children and elderly people on the plane. They had nothing to do with the situation, yet they had to witness this behavior and deal with the fear and stress it caused. Imagine being thousands of feet in the air, unable to simply walk away from a dangerous situation,” he added.
He described the match as an extremely terrifying experience. Talking about safety on board, he said that every passenger expects to be safe while flying in an aircraft.

In response to the video on X, a user wrote in the comments: “Both idiots need to be banned from flying for life.” “Of all places to fight…on a plane,” wrote another.
Someone else commented: “Physical altercations mid-flight pose a serious risk to aviation safety and passenger well-being, requiring strict adherence to no-fly lists and prompt prosecution upon landing.”

Meanwhile, Biman Bangladesh Airlines gave a brief response to the now viral incident. The airline’s General Manager (Public Relations) Mahbubuddin Ahmed told the Dhaka Tribune that he was not yet aware of the incident.
“I don’t know about the matter yet. I’m looking into it,” he added.
