GUWAHATI
A team of researchers from various institutions has described a new species of reed rattlesnake from the West Garo Hills region of Meghalaya.
A description of the species, named Calamaria garoensis (Garo Hills reed snake), was published in Taprobanica, an international peer-reviewed journal.
