Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Friday (June 27, 2025) that the Mask of RSS was released again because he wants “manusmriti” and not an institution, for the General Secretary of the Organization, Datatreya Hosabale, looking for an overview of the words “socialist” and “secular” in Preambul.
“The Mask of the RSS has reappeared. The Constitution is concerned because they speak of equality, secularism and justice,” Mr. Gandhi said in a post in Hindi on X.
“RSS, BJP do not want an institution, they want” manusmriti “. The aim is to get rid of the marginalized and poor of their rights and to enslave them again. The gradation of a strong weapon, such as the Constitution, is their real agenda, ”said the opposition leader in Lok Sabha.

“RSS should stop dreaming of this dream – we will never let it succeed. Every patriotic Indian will defend the institute until the last breath,” Mr. Gandhi said.
On Thursday he dealt with an event organized in an emergency situation, and Mr. Hosabale said: “The preamble of the Baba Saheb Constitution never had these words. In an emergency, when the fundamental rights were suspended, the parliament did not work, the judiciary became chrome, then these words were added.” Secretary General Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said that this question was held on this issue, but no efforts were made to remove these words from the preamble. So whether these words should stay in the preamble, he added, he added.
“Preamble is eternal. Are the ideas of socialism as an eternal ideology for India?” Mr. Hosabale asked.
