National Urdu University of Maulan Azad (Manuu) in Hyderabad on Thursday (May 15, 2025) announced the immediate abolition of the Memorandum of Understanding (Mo) with the Turkish Institute as a sign of protest against Turkiye’s support in Pakistan.
According to reports commander Zámika Singh said that Pakistan used several drones, possibly Turkish origin, for his intrusion from Leh Creek in several places.
In his statement issued to the MANUU media, she communicated her decision to effectively end five -year academic cooperation with the Institute Yunus Emre (Yei), which was signed on January 2, 2024.
According to the YEI website, the Institute is associated with the Yunus Emre Foundation Foundation and is engaged in teaching Turkish in cultural centers established in other countries to promote this language and Turkish culture.
I made it easier to introduce a diploma course in the Turkish language at Manuu’s language of languages, linguistics and indology. As part of the agreement, the services of a visiting professor from Turkey were used to teach the course. The university also said that the visiting professor has since returned to Turkey.
Manuu’s cancellation of an understanding memorandum refers to another Indian university that will end or suspend agreements with Turkish organizations. In the recent past, Jawaharlal has suspended Nezru University (JNU) an agreement with Turkiy’s Inon University. The agreement, signed in February this year, included programs of exchange of faculties and students and other cooperation for three years. Similarly, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), who quoted concerns about national security, suspended all cooperation with Turkish universities.
