The youth suffered serious head injuries after his father allegedly hit him with a metal rod after a heated argument on Thiruvananthapuram on Thursuvananthapuram.
According to the police, the dispute allegedly began when the son, Hrithik, expressed dissatisfaction with the top motorcycle he got earlier, and instead demanded a luxury car. The argument escalated on a physical quarrel, during which Hrithik allegedly attacked his father Vinayanand. He reportedly attacked his son with his family to retaliate.
Hrithik was rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Vanchiyoor police launched the localization of escape.
The relatives told the police that Hrithik was gifted to a new generation motorcycle, which cost almost 17 lakh almost a year ago, but insisted that it was late.
