A 35 -year -old man, Mallipudi Srinivas, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stabbing his friend to death a broken bottle of beer and silencing the body into the irrigation channel in the village of Kopparr, under the police border of Narsapuram in the West Godavari district.
The incident occurred on the night of January 3, but came to light after the body was discovered in the irrigation channel 27, January, which caused the Police Narsapuram to start the probe.
In official release, West Godavari Superinivas, Adnan Nayeem, Asmi, said, “The accused, the Mallipudi Srinivas, allegedly stabbed his friend, Ch. Srinivas (37) after the heated argument. It took place that he attacked a fattent that was worshiped to become his fatal ascent.
Both friends came from the perravali mandala in Eastern Godavari. The police created the accused on Wednesday before the local court.
