The main minister of West Bengal and the chairman of the Congress of Trinamool Mamata Banerjee on Friday (23 May 2025) called on a special meeting of parliament to discuss the recent conflict of India-Pakistan.
Before this congress leadership led to repeated calls that required a special parliamentary meeting in the same problem. Demand for a special meeting of the chairman of the Congress Trinamool comes days after its party agreed to join all parties that visit different countries within the reach of the country against terrorism.

“I call on the Union government to convene a special meeting of parliament after the safe return of the delegation, because I believe that people of this great nation have the most important right to be informed of the recent conflict and evolving development – before anyone else,” Banerjee on social media.

The main minister also stated that “she was” glad that delegations of all parties visit different countries as part of the Indian global reach against terrorism “.
Mrs. Banerjee stressed that she kept claiming that AITC (All India Trinamool Congress) was firmly behind any step that the Union took in the national interests and to defend our sovereignty. Seven delegations of all parties visit different countries in the world that emphasize that countries are against terrorism.

Congress Secretary General of Trinamool Abhishek Banerjee joined all parties to visit Japan. On Friday, Mr. Banerjee visited the Tama cemetery in Tokyo, where he paid honored to the fighter Freedom Fighter Behari Bose. Trinamool’s leader said that “it was skinking to see his memorial in such a neglected and dilapidated state”.
“I asked for our Ambassador @ambsibigeorge and @indiambtocyo to deal with the matter with the competent authorities and ensure that this remarkable hero would receive the honor he really deserves,” Trinamool’s leader said.
