Minister of Small sectors and public businesses Sharanabasappa Darshanapur said Maharshi Valmiki was a great holy point and showed the right way to people.
The assembly was set up after the opening of the Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti program held on Tuesday at Valmiki Bhavan in Yadgiru.
The program was organized together by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, the city council, planned by the Social Batch Department of the tribes and the Maharishi Valmiki Jayantothsava committee.
“Ramayana, written by Maharshi Valmiki, is a great holy book for all. His thoughts that have been put into it have shown a big way to people. People should watch his thoughts of a better life,” he said.
The anniversary of the birth of large persons, such as Valmiki, is also celebrated to connect people with such persons, he said.
MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur said the planned tribes are considered warriors. They ruled Surpur Samsthan and at this time they were interested in many developmental works at this time and left their footprint in history.
