The state, which has witnessed subdued precipitation, will see the promontory in the next week in rainfall, affected by meteorological systems over the Bay of Bengal.
The fresh low-pressure area is likely to be formed on the northwestern Gulf of Bengal off the coast of the Bengal Odisha-West around Monday, strengthening weak westerlies predominant over the state. Medium and northern kerala will probably witness heavy rain for about three to four days, lowered by a low -pressure system.
The low-pressure area, which was formed on Friday over the Gangetic West Bengal and the neighborhood, moves to the west-viawesters over Jharkhand over the next 24 hours and then weakens. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) released a yellow warning for six districts in northern Kerala on Tuesdays on Tuesdays in the north and Central Kerals on Wednesday, where heavy rain is likely to be 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm.
