
Telangana Lokayukta Justice A. Rajasher Reddy, on Saturday Suo Moto took the news report published in Telugo Daily on the situation of the Octogenarian Women as complaints and issued the announcement of the collector of Narayanpet and Maddur Tahsildar.
The report published on August 2 stated that Nagamma from the village of Khajipur was forced to become a beggar with her three married sons who left her when she transferred all her qualities into her names. Her husband Ramulu died five years ago. At the time of his death, Ramulu had 14 hectares of land and four lakh rupees.
The sons had an appointment in the village and distributed land and cash among three of them. When he didn’t care about her, the senior was forced to ask in the village when her sons left her. Lokayaukta ordered officials to submit their report on this matter by August 20.
