Liverpool confirmed the signature of the highly evaluated French striker Hugo Ekitike of Eintracht Frankfurt and added another fire for the new manager of the developing team Arne Slot before the season 2025/26.
The 23 -year -old attacker, who enjoyed the escape campaign in the Bundesliga last season, completed his medical and personal conditions with the REDS. Ecitike arrives on Anfield after a fertile stint in Germany, where he scored 26 goals for Frankfurt in 64 performances. His performance brought him a place in the Bundesliga 2024-25 season and captured the eye of several best clubs, including Manchester United and Newcastle United.
During the 2024/25 Ekitike season, he counted 15 goals and gave eight assists in 33 league matches, playing a key role in Frankfurt on the quarterfinals of UEFA Europa League. Frankfurt was eventually discarded by possible champions Tottenham Hotspur.

Ekitike began his career at the stad de Reims before moving to Paris Saint-Germain, where he won the title Ligue 1 and introduced 33 times. Initially, Frankfurt joined the loan before the permanent agreement and its rapid development in Germany has now led to the Premier League.
It becomes the latest in a number of summer arrivals under the slot and joins Jeremy Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Giorgi Mamardashvili in the reworked Liverpool team again and in Europe again and in Europe.
Hugo Ekitike will wear 54 as a temporary team number on a pre -season tour with Liverpool.
