On Sunday morning, more than 100 inhabitants of LB Shastri Nagarin East Bengalur were collected to participate in the slogan march against illegal waste of waste on public roads. March was aimed at raising awareness and demanding immediate steps from the authorities to solve the growing garlic crisis and related problems that bother this area.
The rally recorded participation from seniors and youth, which held labels and sang slogans for cleanliness and environmental protection. Emphasis focused primarily on key problem zones, especially near Ganesh Temple Road, LBS Main Road and Ayyappa Swamy Temple, in the section between two apartments – Aditya Soigne and Srinidhi Central Park.
The inhabitants who participated in the march emphasized the growing threat of indiscriminate dumping, while everything from the garbage of the household to the sofa, chest of drawers and even animal waste was thrown along the roads, especially in the field of ground land. This resulted not only to disgusting fragrances and health risks, but also attracted stray dogs, cows and even eagles, which created the situation for the community, they said.

“We in LBS Nagar, along with more than 100 inhabitants, gathered on Sunday morning to bring awareness of the people around us to maintain our area clean and healthy. Unfortunately, people continue to throw horns, especially near the temples and main roads.
As part of the awareness campaign, posters were sent among the inhabitants that describe in detail the proven procedures for segregation and disposal of waste. The discussion was also held in the field of pressing concerns, such as irregular garbage collection, lack of proper drainage and illegal parking of vehicles on narrow roads.
