Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Supremo Lalu Prasad said on Saturday (July 5, 2025) that a survey was underway to select suitable candidates for the upcoming Bihar elections.
He made the announcement during the meeting of the National Council, which took place in Gyan Bhavan in Patna. At the assembly, Mr. Prasad was officially declared and re -elected to the National President of the Party, who was unfounded for a period of time.
“The names of the candidates will be completed after consultation with Tejashwi Yadav, who is working hard to strengthen the local level,” Praad said.
He praised his son, the former chief minister said: “I still get feedback from the party’s activities. Sometimes I don’t know when he is out of town and I will learn about his visits to various places on the day he returns.”
He asked to work hard at the ground level and asked them to make sure his son would become the main minister of Bihar. Mr. Prasad also accumulated the praise of his wife Rabri Devi, who sat beside him.
Many leaders were present at the National Council meeting, including state President Mangan Lal Mandala, Shivanand Tiwari and Sanjay Yadav.
