KREDL set a deadline of September 30 for sellers to complete the installation of PM KUSUM-B solar pumping units

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) Chief Executive Officer Divya Prabhu GRJ has directed officials and empaneled vendors to complete installation and commissioning of all approved solar water pumps under KUSUM-B scheme by September 30.
During a review meeting held on Friday, Ms. Prabhu said, “Around 1.05 lakh farmers have registered under the scheme, out of which 40,000 beneficiaries have been identified and installation of standalone solar pumping sets has been sanctioned. As many as 27,663 solar water pumping sets have already been installed in 31 districts in the state.”
At the same time, monthly targets were set for each of the 13 integrated suppliers to ensure timely completion.
