Nimish’s husband Toma Thomas said PTI that the effort to avert her execution would continue. “The execution has been postponed. That’s good news. We’re happy and relieved. I’m sure the effort will continue to avert her execution and bring her back safely,” he said.

Thomas said he had a daughter studying in class XIII and that the child was kept far from this development.
