With separatist leader and Kashmiri chief cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in the audience, ruling National Conference (NC) chairman Farooq Abdullah waded into separatist politics, saying his party had chosen Mahatma Gandhi over slogans of “Nara-e-Takbeer Allahu Akbar” and stressed that Kashmir would never be Pakistan.
During Sunday’s release of the book ‘Healer in Exile: The Untold Story of Dr. Sushil Razdan’, authored by his son Sachin Razdan, Dr. Abdullah political statement with a spectrum of political leaders including leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), BJP, Congress and other regional parties present.
