The Pro-Kannada Group organized a protest on Friday and demanded that the Karnatak government to withdraw its decision to invite an international author who won the BANU MUSHTAQ Awards to start the Dasar Festival at Chamundi Hills.
Members of Karnataka hay Pade, who introduced a demonstration outside the old deputy of the Commissioner in the city, warned that they would organize a black flag on DaSary’s Day if the government continues its decision.
In her statement, the organization strongly protested against the decision of the Chief Minister Siddaramaiaha, who, as she claims, injured Hinda sentiment.
The organization also condemned Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar reported notes that “Chamundi Hill is not the property of the Hindu.”
