
Police in Mumbai revealed a robust security plan for Ganpati Visarjan scheduled for Saturday. The plan comes with hours after the city room for control of operation received the threat of bomb through the official WhatsApp issue, warning against attacks through human bombs and RDX.
The joint police commissioner Mumbai, Law & Order, Satyanarayan Chaudhary said that the deployment of the police will include other commissioner officers, constabs. He also said that the police, both uniform and civilian clothes, would be deployed on the roads and submersible places, she said.
Minister Maharashtra Yogesh Kadam said: “We will use artificial intelligence for security and supervision in Girgaum Chowpathta. Women’s security is our highest priority. We have deployed female police staff.”
What was the threat of a bomb?
At the beginning of the day of the police in Mumbai, she said she had received a threat from an organization that claimed to be “Lashkar-E-Jihadi” that warned that more human bombs had been planted throughout the city.
“The Traffic Police in Mumbai received the threats of their official WhatsApp issue. In the threat, it was claimed that 34” human bombs “were planted in 34 vehicles throughout the city and the explosion shakes the entire Mumbai,” police said.

When is Ganpati Visarjan in Mumbai?

The 10 -day celebrations of Ganeshotsav began on August 27, Ganesh Chaturthi, Al known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Valavithi.
