Actor, Rajya Sabha MP and founder Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), Kamal Haasan on Thursday (August 7, 2025) met with Prime Minister Narendra Modim in Nový Delhi and placed some requests, including one on Keedi.
“As a representative of people Tamil Nadu and as an artist, I put some requests before him, including a call to speed up the recognition of Keeladi’s antiquity,” Haasan said in post X.

“I urged the prime minister to expand his support for Tamil people in demonstration to the world of the grandeur of Tamil civilization and the timeless glory of Tamil’s language,” he added.
